Seniors NEED Our Help
We assist seniors in King and Snohomish counties with understanding and applying for property tax exemptions and deferrals. Our goal is to provide honest, straightforward guidance to help reduce financial stress and make the MOST of the programs available to you.
The Washington League for Homeowner Education is a dedicated single-issue nonprofit focused on empowering homeowners through education.
Our mission is to provide clear, accurate information about the appropriate use of federally insured Home Equity Conversion Mortgages (HECMs), commonly known as reverse mortgages. We believe informed decisions are the foundation of financial security, and we emphasize the importance of working with a Certified Reverse Mortgage Professional (CRMP) to ensure responsible guidance and ethical practices.
Through education, we aim to help homeowners and their families make confident, well-informed choices for their financial future.
Are you a Licensed real estate professional helping senior clients navigate housing decisions?
Our WLFHE classes and programs provide in-depth insights into how reverse mortgages can open up new opportunities for buying or staying in a home.
Affordable CE you can use that is virtual and you can take it from home!
When used correctly, this government-insured program for seniors can be life-changing for homeowners and help you stand out in a competitive market.
NEST is a community connecting our members with each other and with resources to age successfully in the place they call home. NEST is a 501(c)(3) non-profit grassroots community in Northeast Seattle, founded in 2009. By providing a strong support network through volunteers and trusted business referrals, older residents can stay in the homes of their choosing and stay engaged in the neighborhoods they love, for as long as possible.
At the Washington League for Homeowner Education, we believe that informed decisions start with education. That’s why we’ve partnered with respected colleges across the Greater-Seattle Metro to provide classes and workshops about reverse mortgages. These sessions are designed to give seniors—and their families—the clarity they need to explore their options with confidence.
